Summary: Located near the Grand Concourse. Easy access to the subway 4/5 trains 138 St/ Grand Concourse and 6 train at 3 Ave 138 st. Arrived before check-in time and was able to check-in early. Facility is very modern and rooms are very comfortable. Key card entry required on elevator. Morning breakfast is provided with yogurt, fruit, waffles, breakfast sandwich, breads and bagels, coffee and juices. Restaurant/bar was quite busy in the evening with DJ. Facility has a gym. Staff were very helpful. Surrounding area is a bit sketchy looking but didn't encounter any problems.

Summary: The room smelled like there was a previous smoker or maybe somebody had been smoking in the hall, I noticed it but was too tired to switch thinking it wouldn’t be so bad but then it was hard to sleep.

Summary: Convenient location to an express stop on the 4 subway line makes for easy travel around the city. Clean hotel, with a small restaurant, which was busy on the weekend, inside. The breakfast options were limited to some bagels, muffins and cereal, along with some frozen breakfast sandwiches. The rooms are pretty small, but if you’re only planning to use it to sleep/shower you’ll be good. They have a tap for sparkling and flat water in the lobby and will provide reusable bottles to use, just be sure to ask for one at checkin, we were told they rarely have them in the morning.

Summary: First, let's address the elephant in the room: yes, this property is not in the nice part of town. There's graffiti on the walls across the street, lots of the buildings in the block seem abandoned, and we did see someone trying to break into a car parked on the street. That being said, we never felt in danger. The hotel itself is VERY nice. Indoor valet parking, nice (but small) rooms, a great bar/restaurant with a nice rooftop area, all of that was good. If the hotel were on 59th or something, it would be $400 per night. There is a subway station half a block away with the number 5 express train going straight downtown in like 5 stops. If you're a coward, stay somewhere else. If you like a bit of adventure, stay here and save a ton of money.

Summary: The staff here is very friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Ms. Arleen went above and beyond to make sure everything was great from the beginning. Ms. Natasha was very helpful and ensured we had everything we needed for the room. The other 3 young ladies and gentleman who worked there were also pleasant when assisting us. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others! Thanks for making our stay a very special experience for my birthday!!!

Summary: I could not give the hotel a 5-star rating because there were a number of things that were not appreciated: 1) my room had a remnant of smoke fumes in it 2) when I voiced my concern on several things not working in my room, they were not corrected 3) the rooftop frequently has a dog meet up and this was not stated at check-in or on website, dogs bring a certain level of uncleanliness as they were in common areas, not to mention those who have allergies to pet hair. 4) the front desk attendant was not as welcoming as they could have been as you must know this job requires you to be upbeat when working with visitors.

Summary: Affordable Hotel. Bar right in the lobby area that had a party going. Different vibe than a traditional experience. Staff were very nice and checking in/out was easy. Parking staff tried to rip me and charge me for supersize vehicle when I drive a Mid-size AUV MY Tesla. He was reluctant but adjusted the price. Once we got to the room, it's very small. Its similar to a studio apartment but layout is functional. Didn't feel dirty but didn't feel fresh either. House keeping good. Complementary breakfast was very basic. Nothing hot is available unless you microwave. Parties, cereal, juice, and coffee. Area its in is like a ghetto or projects. Did not feel safe outside.
